本堂十分欣喜魯班先師廟修繕工程榮獲香港建築文物保護師學會（HKICON)2024年度大奬，感謝HKICON和各位專業評審。以下是專家評審之意見（英文版）：-
“This project showcases meticulous restoration that underscores the authenticity of the historic fabric and highlights the spirit of place, notably seen in the repair of the ceramic figurines on the roof, clay figurines and mural paintings on the walls, and other carpentry works in the hall. The project team rose over the challenge of a tiny site with transportation difficulties. The innovative introduction of a new lighting system of the hall is remarkable – it enhances the visibility and helps to highlight the cultural significance of the interiors without compromising the solemnity of the temple. The project team has made an admirably daring decision to remove the previously obscuring wire mesh protection of the offering table in the hall and the clay figurines on both sides of the entrance to reveal their authenticity. The engagement of tradition bearers in craftsmanship inheritance, and engagement of the community in participating in the restoration works also make this project an exemplar of sustainable conservation practices.”
魯班先師廟修繕工程以「修舊如舊」為原則，並且包含咗大灣區交流合作、 傳統建築工藝傳承、以及公眾教育三大元素。整個修繕過程得到發展局和古蹟辦的大力支持，專家學者們的寶貴建議，以及顧問、承辦商、工匠們的配合，每一位參與者都擁有一夥「匠心」， 充分展現了精益求 精、一絲不苟的「工匠精神」。
感謝發展局和古蹟辦的鼎力支持和協助，包括在歷史建築維修資助、技術支援、大灣區合作交流、公眾教育，以至法定古蹟工作等多方面。 同時，亦要感謝魯班廟修繕工程所有贊助機構。
